Yawn, yet another film that discusses the so-called perils of being rich and famous. Despite the fact that the cast is brilliant, the storyline is weak. Gray (Giovanni Ribisi) spends the whole film being suspicious of others, thinking that he has a stalker (Joshua Jackson) and mourning over the loss of his mundane girlfriend (Christina Ricci), while not noticing the charms of his gorgeous wife, Mia (Franka Potente).
The film is full of navel-gazing, self-pity tirade that the director couldíve gotten away with if he had only spent a few minutes doing so, when you have an unlikable paranoid character like Gray complaining for two hours of the film, it soon gets boring, fast.
If you donít mind getting bored while watching a film, or actually enjoy dull plots, then this film is for you. If on the other hand youíre looking for something fresh, creative, and entertaining then find another film to love cos this doesnít quite hit the spot.
1 star for the brilliant actors, too bad the film isnít equally as brilliant.
Mirabelle (Claire Danes) is a disenchanted salesclerk at Saks selling expensive dinner gloves to rich people. Her life appears seemingly dull while she kills time in her little flat swallowing antidepressants and drawing sad sketches of herself. A little excitement is brought into her life with the encounter of the eccentric Jeremy and charming Ray (Steve Martin). The film explores the different perspectives of the characters. Mirabelle transforms herself from a drab unsatisfied sheltered girl from Vermont to a stylish L.A. posh girl. What really grabs the audiences attention though is the quirkiness of Jeremyís character, and the overall realness that one feels when viewing the film. Although the film does have a happy ending, itís not the usual faery-tale ending one would expect, instead it leaves you with a feeling of having learned some kind of life lesson on love and relationships.

Title:Entangled Within the Nature of Things
The first thing you notice once you start reading the poems in this collection, is the sense of calm and peacefulness that each poem leaves you afterwards. The poems are simple, the structures used arenít too versatile, but the content is highly inspirational. The photos included in the book are quaint and relaxing, like spending a day at the park. My personal favourites in the book are: Frozen Over Tears, Spring, Soul Mates, and Angel Lullabies. This is the book to choose when spending the day out immersed in nature, it leaves you with a warm cozy feeling inside.
This novel reads like a rap song, delirious and disjointed. A violent faery-tale with the absence of a prince charming. Angelica, is a young woman who has lived her whole life taking care of her sick aunt, until the day she decides to abandon her to try to live out a more exciting existence. She ends up in a small town where she befriends Veronica, another lost soul like her, where they both start working at a factory gluing eyes on dolls.
When she meets Gianmaria at her 28th birthday, Angelica feels that he is her saviour. Soon after getting married to him, she realises just how wrong she was. Her life becomes even more dull and apathetic while her only source of joy is the obsession she has for a thirteen year-old boy, Matteo that lives above her apartment. This unrequited love slowly leads her to madness, where reality and nightmares become one, and the horrible need to feel loved is never quite fulfilled.
www.adameve.com Wish you could buy sex toys and at the same time have your money be donated to a charity? Founder of the site, Phil Harvey has created a postal service of sex as he calls it equipped with all the sex toys you can imagine, but at the same time you can feel like youíre contributing to a worthy cause because the money you spend on his site re sent to finance Dkt International, a humanitarian organization that makes it possible for third world countries to have access to free condoms (in an attempt to lower the possibility of AIDS to spread). This is the best idea Iíve seen in a long time, so go ahead and do yourself a favour and be charitable too.
